Hi, I'm Ian Bursill. I run Damson Web, where I build fast, custom-coded websites for local businesses and take the photos to go with them.
I spent 20 years as a wedding photographer, and in 2009 the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) named me Wedding Photographer of the Year for the UK. I was also placed second in Europe and third in the world.
Before that, I worked in print for ten years, then ran the studio at a full-service advertising agency in Leicester for four years. That's where my design background comes from, and why I know Leicestershire and its businesses so well.
Today I'm based in Blackburn, Lancashire. My roots are in Leicestershire and I still have family there, so I'm over regularly. That's why I work with businesses in both counties, with the same face-to-face service in each.
